Jamie was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She now resides in Bucks County, a northern suburb of Philadelphia with her husband, two young sons and their rescue hound/lab mix Winston.

Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Penn State University and is a graduate of the internationally recognized Interior Design Institute. Jamie has successfully run the Human Resource functions of fast-growing middle market professional service firms. Her passion, however, has been in interior design. She enjoyed designing her own home, those of friends and family as well as participating on the design team of two commercial spaces for previous employers.

The elimination of her corporate America position in the fall of 2020 due to the COVID pandemic enabled Jamie to reevaluate her career path and work/life balance. She took the opportunity to pursue her passion and enrolled in the Interior Design Institute course and start her own design firm, Curated Dwellings.

Jamie believes that the home should be our personal sanctuaries and beautiful design should not just be a luxury for only the elite or celebrity. She enjoys helping others achieve the look and feel that they desire in their home with her favorite spaces to design are kitchens and nurseries as they are areas of the home that celebrate and bring families together.
